We kind of underestimate how reading affects us. You will be fascinated by knowing that an average person reads anywhere from one to four hours a day! Every single day, you’re reading news, you’re reading social media to get caught up with your friends, you’re reading reports, you’re reading whatsapp messages and many more things you might be reading.

When last did you read a book? How many books have you read this year? If you are the type that does not think highly of reading books, then you are missing out on a lot of benefits that reading offers. Reading will help you to gain knowledge, which can never be taken from you. Reading helps to build your vocabulary, enhance your sentence structure abilities and improve your overall communication skills. Reading a good story reduces stress and it will make you feel relaxed. Reading will help you to have improved focus and concentration.

Now you have known the benefits and significance of reading books. My bonus tip for you if you want to start reading a book : Read a love story or a Non-Fictional book . It will keep you engaged and that’s how you can develop a habit of reading books. Then you can start reading Fictional or self help books which will help in your personal growth.
